Terms of Service
Last updated 12 October 2026.
1. Who we are
StockLock is provided by Parabox Games Ltd, Unit 3 Millers Yard, Market Harborough, LE16 7PW, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). Contact us at support@stocklock.net.
2. These terms
These terms apply when you install or use the StockLock app on a Shopify store, or use this website. By installing StockLock you agree to them on behalf of your business. Shopify's own terms also apply to your use of Shopify and of apps from the Shopify App Store.
3. What StockLock does
StockLock lets you set purchase limits on your Shopify store and enforces them at checkout, and adds per-customer limits, order holds and invite-only drops. Storefront features need an Online Store 2.0 theme. We may improve, change or retire features over time; we'll tell you in advance about any change that takes away something you rely on.
StockLock is a tool that reduces over-limit and bulk purchasing. It doesn't promise to stop every unwanted purchase: for example, someone using several genuine customer accounts, each within its limit, isn't over any limit. You remain responsible for the limits you set and for decisions about held orders.
4. Plans, free trial and billing
- Every plan starts with a free trial (currently 7 days). Shopify tracks trial days, so reinstalling doesn't restart a trial.
- Plans are by the number of orders your store takes in a rolling 30 days. Prices and allowances are on our pricing page and in the app.
- Shopify bills your subscription with your Shopify invoice, in US dollars, plus any applicable taxes. You can change or cancel your plan at any time in your Shopify admin.
- If your store goes over its plan's allowance, we'll tell you in the app. If it stays over for 30 days, the features that run on our servers (per-customer counting, order holds, scheduled drop openings and recounts) pause until you move to a suitable plan. Limits at checkout keep working.
- If your subscription ends, StockLock stops enforcing limits and showing them on your storefront. Your settings are kept so you can subscribe again.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; Shopify asks you to approve any increase. Refunds are at our discretion and are handled through Shopify.
5. Your licence to use StockLock
While your store has an active trial or subscription, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use StockLock for that store. StockLock, including its software, checkout rule, admin app, storefront code, website and demo, belongs to us and is protected by copyright. You must not, and must not help anyone else to, whether by hand or with automated or AI tools:
- copy, modify, decompile, reverse engineer or extract any part of StockLock's code or logic, or reuse it in another app, store or product;
- tamper with, bypass or disable StockLock's subscription checks, signed entitlements, plan allowances or Shopify billing, including by editing the app's data in your store;
- use StockLock, or knowledge of how it works, to build or offer a competing product;
- resell, sublicense or share access to StockLock beyond your own store;
- use StockLock unlawfully, or in breach of Shopify's terms.
Nothing in these terms stops you doing anything the law allows you to do regardless of a contract.
6. Your data and your customers' data
Our privacy notice explains what we process and why. For your customers' personal data, you are the controller and we process it only to run StockLock for your store, on your instructions. You're responsible for telling your customers how you use their data, including any limits and drops you run.
7. Availability
Limits at checkout are enforced by Shopify and keep working if our servers are briefly unavailable. We aim to keep our own service running reliably but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance, and will try to do so at quiet times.
8. Suspension and ending
You can stop using StockLock at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your use of StockLock if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, including section 5, or if the law or Shopify requires it. Where reasonable, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to put things right.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows:
- we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, sales, goodwill or data;
- our total liability to you arising from StockLock in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us for StockLock in those 12 months.
StockLock is provided for business use, not to consumers.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using StockLock after that, the new terms apply.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
